TUDOR HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Tudor Hall Wedding Photography

Jessica and James

What’s that, Tudor Hall Wedding Photography with a Disney theme? Absolutely, I’m in! I do love a bit and Disney, so to be able to combine Jessica and James’ theme with my photography was 100% an easy decision. It made for a super day and Jessica was most definitely James’ Princess.

Tudor Hall’s 16 acres of exquisitely kept gardens are just stunning. Previously known as Davenport Green Hall and is a Grade II Tudor Hall historical 16th century estate in the heart of Cheshire.  Built in 1617, it is part of the Davenport Estate and was previously owned by Richard Grantham. Only recently has it been open to up to hols bespoke wedding events and is often referred to as “The jewel in the crown” by Tudor Hall’s current owners.

Some People Are Worth Melting For

– quote by Olaf

From the moment I walked into Jessica’s bridal party I knew this would be a wonderful and emotional event. Jessica and her sisters, Lucy and Elspeth, were all looking comfortable in their pj’s with their hair already prepared. Bridesmaid plaits like I have never seen before created by Stacey Nicholls. Make-up artist Katie Kelly carefully created stunning natural looks for all the bridesmaids and of course our beautiful bride.

Once upon a bride supplied Jessica’s dress which really is elegant and Princess like. As it hung waiting to be worn, I couldn’t help but think the design so simple that sophistication shone through. With flowers decorating the top of the bust and waistline, it really came to life on Jessica. She wore shoes from Debenhams matching the elegance of her dress and topped it all off with a glittering diamante tiara. Today’s wedding flowers were handmade by Four Seasons Flowers. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of peach coloured roses with an array of complementing dusky pink roses and foliage wrapped in lace. With a few last minute touches at the church doors, Jessica was ready to meet her groom.

This pre-ceremony photography has to be the loveliest and most quint part of the day I have done in a while. It was just great to be around emotionally warm wedding party.

As Soon As I Saw You, I Knew An Adventure Was About To Happen

– quote by Winnie the Pooh

Walking down the isle, James saw Jessica and she couldn’t contain her excitement as you can see from the Aisle pictures below. James wore a fine navy suit with matching waistcoat from Slaters and polished his look with a matching rose in his buttonhole. Throughout the ceremony I’m not sure our bride stopped grinning.

Eslpeth and Lucy, Jessica’s sisters, were singing and playing the flute which added a touch of personal warmth to the ceremony. They had really gone to a huge amount of effort to produce a super performance for today. Maid of honour, Jenny and Best man, Bob, did a super job in keeping a calm and light-hearted atmosphere for all.

Throughout today it was clear how important family was and meant to our bride and groom. They’re so close to both families that this really is the joining of two families to become one big family.

All you need is faith and trust, and a little bit of pixie dust

– quote by Peter Pan

Having been showered with confetti, not pixie dust, Jessica and James slipped away for some personal photography shots.

Once introduced at their reception, Jessica and James’ strolled in happily and were greeted by huge round of applause.

Their wedding cake was not only hand crafted by Candy’s Cupcakes but also includes a very special, personal, design hidden at the back. The map of the world represents the many locations they have visited and worldly exploration is something they both treasure. The second tier is colourfully hand painted with Jessica’s favourite Disney characters, which is pretty much all of them. Finally the top tier had Miss Piggy and Kermit on it which is Jessica’s pet name after James saw her eat 2 chocolate fudge fairy cakes!

Beautifully, yet subtly placed on the top table was a globe. This belonged to Jessica’s grandad who passed away in January. Therefore in his memory and tying in our couple’s love of travelling it seemed the right place for a globe.

Can You Feel The Love Tonight

– quote from The Lion King

The evening event welcomed all to the dance floor. After our happy couple had danced their first dance the guests made an impromptu gathering and joined the dance floor. There was almost no space left which is a sign of great music taste, provided by DJ Tony from Tudor Hall.

One of my favourite shots is the featured image for this blog. It is outside the hall, in the dark, with our happy couple lit up from the back lights from the hall itself.

Love is a song that never ends

– quote by Bambi

To me, wedding photography is about showing the day for its true moments, Capturing the emotion and memories that, like a love song, never end.

No pre-planned or posed shots, unless requested, just pure, natural pictures.

I hope you enjoy this collection of Tudor Hall Wedding Photography.
