My name is Ryan Rafferty, and I am a wedding photographer based in Manchester, although I capture memories for couples all over the UK.  That’s me in the photo, with my amazing wife Laura.  I love my job, I get to meet new people at the happiest times of their lives, and I get to be a part of those magical moments every time I go to work.  What’s not to love?

I started taking photos professionally back in 2003 at university, photographing people in nightlife and on the street, in their most natural forms.  A year later, I shot my first wedding, determined to forgo the traditional posed albums and bring my ‘life’ style into wedding photography.  If you get a chance, please have a look at this style reflected through my full weddings and my portfolio
